At the Denver Sportsmen’s show several years ago I ran into my good friend Jeff Currier. He was working on a watercolor. I knew Jeff was talented; however I did not know that he was a gifted artist. He was applying the final spots on a Snake River Cutthroat that was the best trout painting I had ever seen. I begged him to sell it to me, and he did but with a look on his face like, “I can actually sell my paintings?” Since that day I have commissioned Jeff to paint at least 15 more fish. The paintings are as good as it gets. I could not be more pleased, and they make my fishing room a real work of art.

Jeff Currier's Hosted Peacock Bass Fly Fishing Trip to Brazil

The 2012 date for Jeff Currier’s hosted peacock bass trip on the Amazon in Brazil is set! These dates are February 11 - 18. That’s a Saturday to Saturday. The trip will have 8 anglers including Jeff. The cost of the trip is $4395 based on double occupancy. This price includes airport pick up and drop off in Manaus, Brazil, one nights stay in Manaus at an excellent hotel, travel to our camp in the Amazon, guides, accommodation and food. It does not include international airfare (expect about $1500, there is now a direct flight from Atlanta to Manaus on Delta or United from Miami), your Brazilian Visa (about $160), tips to fishing guides, camp staff and airport pickup taxi drivers or food while staying the day in Manaus.

The outfit Jeff and you will be using is River Plate Amazon Outfitters. Jeff had several options as what trip or type of trip to do.
