Hosts Alex and Dave believe a little alcohol can really accentuate one’s ability to articulate a story. I doubt Jeff really needs such but nonetheless, Jeff sipped a couple Rainiers on his back porch in May and shared some great stories ranging from his home waters in Yellowstone Park to as far away as India.

“Jeff Currier – Fly Fishing Around The World”
Fly Fishing Journeys
March 2, 2019

Jeff Currier of Global Fly Fishing has probably caught more species of fish on the fly then dare I say any human ever. From his beginnings on the North Shore of Boston, chasing Muskies on the fly through college in Wisconsin and trout bumming around the world, Jeff has set the bar high for professional fly fishing and kindness to his fellow man. To know Jeff is to know what special person he is. Along with his wife Granny, as he calls her, they are an amazing couple and it has been an honor to get to know them over the past few years.

Live form The Fly Fishing Show in Marlborough, MA, I caught up with Jeff and got the updated number of species on the fly, learned how he launched a career in fly fishing from a fly shop in Jackson Hole, WY and took a fly fishing trip around the world.

Join us in this journey of fly fishing, friendship and adventure on our podcast with Jeff Currier. Please
help us spread the word about these great stories by sharing with a friend.

“Jeff Currier – 400+ Species on the Fly, Fly Fishing
Traveler and Carp Pioneer”

Reno Fly Shop
June 28, 2018

Jeff Currier has been fly fishing the world for over forty years. Jeff’s adventures to more than sixty countries on six continents has resulted in more than 400 species of fish caught on a fly. This is an amazing feat by any standard and one that would be tough to match unless one would be willing to dedicate their life to fly fishing and adventure travel as Jeff has. How does he do it? Rather simple if you listen closely to Jeff. Bring a sense of humor, enthusiasm, humility and plenty of curiosity and the rest will fall into place.
