Jeff has been traveling to South America trout bumming, exploring jungles and rainforest, and hosting trips to the Amazon for over twenty years. He enjoys trout fishing in Patagonia because of its large trout and lesser fished rivers, but even more so he loves fishing the rainforest in the Amazon Basin. Jeff is amazed at the number of species you can catch there. It’s a fact that there are more than 2000 types of fish in the Amazon Basin. That’s more species than are found in the Atlantic Ocean! Most of these fish are aquarium fishes but there’s still hundreds of larger species that can take a fly.
Jeff has fished Argentina, Bolivia, Brazil, Chile, Ecuador, Guyana, Peru and Venezuela.
