Saltwater Species

Jeff-Currier-Saltwater-PageGrowing up on the north shore of Massachusetts gave Jeff an early taste of saltwater fishing. In the beginning, most his first experiences did not include a fly rod. It was when he moved to Wyoming that he became passionate about saltwater fly fishing. Yes, that’s right – Wyoming. Jeff started taking his trout clients to Belize and his love for saltwater fly fishing exploded from there.

Jeff has saltwater fly fished extensively on both coasts of North America, Australia, Bahamas, Belize, Canada, Cayman Islands, Christmas Island, Costa Rica, Ecuador, El Salvador, French Polynesia, Gabon, Guatemala, Honduras, Iceland, Madagascar, Mauritius (St. Brandon’s Atoll), Mexico, New Zealand, Nicaragua, Oman, Panama, Seychelles, South Africa, Sudan, Turkey, United Arab Emirates and Venezuela. As you can imagine, all these places add up to lots of different species. Jeff has organized his lists by oceans.
