It has been a fabulous three days celebrating a big-time birthday this week. I don’t have time to elaborate but I caught my usual birthday fish. Like last year, it was a smallie. It’s a little guy for Chequamegon Bay on Lake Superior dock tour but this one stole the fly from a larger one right before my eyes. Dang!
That was my only fish after four dock tour stops from Ashland to Cornucopia but it was a lovely day with sun, fall colors, lunch in Bayfield and dinner back at the Ranch Super Club in Hayward. What a day. What a fun visit with mom and my sister Becky.
