Three days ago I wrote a blog from Mom’s house in NH, this morning I’m delivering it from the Eden Bleu Hotel here in Mahe, Seychelles. It was a long haul but the one thing I like about 30 hours of flying, I can’t do much. No tinkering. No emails. Not much of anything other than reading, watching movies and sleeping. And when you look at flight travel like that, reaching the far side of the world goes pretty darn fast.
I arrived here to the Seychelles early. Its Friday and I could have arrived on Sunday. But on this trip, if I, or any of my folks miss the charter flight to Astove Atoll on Monday morning, you miss the trip. I had some pretty bad luck here in December 2019 with a cyclone so being here safe and sound nice and early – I’m ok with it.
I’m taking five anglers with me Monday to Astove. They arrive here tomorrow. Then I have another six arriving next week for my second trip and I’ll be taking them to Cosmoledo Atoll.
These are Yellow Dog Hosted trips and if you ever want to go feel free to contact me or go directly to Yellow Dog. I will be doing the 2019 cyclone make up trip in April 2022 and there are a couple spots. Let me know!
I will have very little internet after this weekend but as usual, I’ll be writing and posting my day by day accounts as I can.
In the meantime, let me remind you that I sell “Christmas Gifts for the Angler that has Everything” that you can purchase from my Online Store.
