The Fly Fishing Show tour continues this Friday, Saturday and Sunday with the Denver Fly Fishing Show in Colorado. I’ll be giving demonstrations on the casting ponds and delivering PowerPoint Presentations in the show theaters. Granny will be manning our booth showing off our products such as our new whiskey glasses (The few we have left) along with my famous fish coffee mugs, beer steins and shirts. You can bring by a backpack or fly box for me to draw on if you like. Prices will vary on fish species and what you have me draw on.
The Western Idaho Fly Fishing Expo in Boise was excellent. Though it was a long way to travel for two days, it was very fun to get back to Idaho and catch up with friends and customers I’d not seen in a while.
After Denver I’ll have my first visit back home of 2026. I cannot wait to sleep in my own bed, get up and have coffee in my favorite chair, go for a hike, perhaps drop a tip-up in a frozen lake and see my friends at the Anglers. Granny and I are very excited to be home for the famous Birkie cross-country ski races. The trip home will be short however. In late February it’s on to Iowa, Arizona and Texas.
